Hi All. As you would have noticed from all my posts Im new to the Sierra game even though i do have a Grand Vitara. I am mechanically minded and have always played around with cars. In trying to sort out the interior light and the door switch's i discovered that previous owner have connected the handbrake switch into the door switch / interior light at the loom. I have now sorted the door switch / interior light but can't work out where the handbrake cable should plug into at the loom under the dash. Can someone please trace theirs and post some photos? I have looked at wiring diagrams and they say orange but cant find any orange cables under the dash. Thks in advance once again. Chris. |

Is there a brake fluid level switch on the master cylinder? That's usually where the handbrake switch ties in - the brake warning light on the dash illuminates if the fluid is low, or the handbrake up. |

Will have a better look tomorrow but I think it links into the the brake fluid level switch (as fordem says) and the instrument cluster. Where exactly it connects in the harness if have to have a better look |
