whats the best diff to use it a sierra nt hardtop???? some thing that will take a fair bit of power and a hard time, i was thinking maybe a cut down hilux diff as i think they sit out to far. any ideas guys????????

I would think you would go to the trouble of
cutting down the hilux diff , much better with a wider
track but from the info on here hilux the go that's
what I'm going to do

Hilux front and Bundera rear seems to be the best if you want to upgrade axles.

if you are going to all that bother of cutting a diff down then why not get some really strong diffs, like GU patrol, dana 60's etc etc etc

Hilux are just slightly larger and are used cause the flange is very very similar to a NT sierra

WT will give better stability, and if you are punishing them then maybe consider the way you drive and then maybe some birfield rings and heavy duty axles. MUCH MUCH cheaper than butchering some $4000 diffs that no one will ever want again

all depends on gearing ( and where you apply it!) and intended purpose.

i was thinking of running a ca18 engine with a auto hilux transfer case as i have a spare one, just didn't want to break suzuki alxes all the time with 33's
