Some people steal anything not bolted down.. Too many dickheads!! Try get one made up with a cable in the back and padlock perhaps? |

The soft cover will have a hem with either elastic or paracord that pulls the inner edge to a smaller diameter than the tire - replace it with a steel cable that you can secure to the vehicle. |

Or buy a cheap one so if it does get stolen it's not so harsh on your wallet.. It's kinda like, how do I stop people braking into my soft top? It's going to happen regardless I believe. |

I agree re: soft top - i haven't locked my doors since i owned the thing (15 years) - i'd rather someone easily get in and see there's nothing in there than cut the soft top just to find the same. |

^this. Spare wheel covers are really only there to prevent uv damage to the spare. If you're doing a 5 tyre rotation this effect is negligible. |

easiest way to stop it being stolen is take it off and leave it locked up at home |
