Please help!! I have 1993 vitara lwb, Has a g16b efi engine in it. Around a month ago the engine got a little wet (Seriously only a little) Ever since it has beeing missing low down in the revs, I've changed leads, Plugs, Distributor, Done a compression test, Any help as to what the cause might be? Its using more fuel due to this, It also seems to be a little slower (could just be me thinking that though) Thanks!!! |

Where did it "get a little wet" - externally, or in the intake? |

I was there, the car literally went through the hole, splashed water up, when the driver pulled up, I popped the bonnet and there was no water anywhere near the top, just a bit dripping from near the engine cross member and bottom of the radiator. |

Oh OK. Check for water in the intake - does it have the old style AFM? (big cone) could be the AFM or its connections got wet |

Don't g16b's run funny when the rank key way is worn? The symptoms you have may be unrelated to the water. Just a coincidence it's happened at the same time. |

well it didn't actually start directly after the water, It happened around an hour or 2 later but i just sorta asumed that may have been the reason? |
