IF you do a search, plenty of info. Good Luck locating some of the crank bearings as they haven't been manufactured for years and years. Took me 3 years to locate everything to rebuild the crank completely. I think it was the centre bearing that I had someone back packing around Japan hunt all the small engine shops in Japan on his travels just to locate it. Unsure if the bearings are still hard to get as that was 3 years ago.

I'd look at some competent outboard workshops. I don't think anyone else in Australia would deal with multi cylinder 2 stroke cranks anymore.

There is a motorbike guru in Darwin who has the original crank assembly tooling for the Lj50. I send a crank for him to rebuild and balance. Will try and hunt down his details, that's if he is still in business.

Last time I was at Suzi Auto in Springwood, Greame had just rebuilt a LJ20 engine and transmission. may be worth a chat to him.
