Hello i was wondering if any pros can tell me wat aftermarket diff gears and cvs i can put in my 97 coily soft top?
I would like to fit 4.5 diff gears with 26 spline chromoly cvs

I just want to know before i order any parts if i can modify the diffs in any way to make them stronger

Thanks
Any help is much appreciated.

Yes you can upgrade front axles and cvs- add engineering (tanshi) on here does them.
There are no alternative ratios for the coil front diff.

is there a difference between earlier leafy diff gears and my coily diff gears ? Im looking to buy new gears from "Lowrangeoffroad.com" and the only options for sierra diff gears is pre 96 models and mine is a 97 model .. i want to put 4.57 gears and 26 spline chromoly cv's into my coily diff housings

26 spline chromo axles from ADD will fit fine as long as you install 26 spline side gears.

The coily front housing wont accept any other sierra centre due to the tie rod running behind the diff.

And Coily fronts are reverse cut IIRC.

Well yes, that's a another way of saying high pinion.

There are the Japanese Kei models which will have 5.xx or similar diffs but that's a lot of expense and effort for a rare and possibly weak gear set when all your gearing can be done cheaply and easily with a leaf transfer.

Here's the low down on coily diffs.

Rear is the same family of diffs as 1.3l leaf Sierra f+r, WT Maruti f+r and Jimny rear. It has the same ratio and axle spline count as NT Sierras but a different tail shaft flange. You can fit aftermarket gears and any locker that fits a 1.3l sierra or jimny.

The front is a high pinion (or reverse cut, but it's only really Americans who use that term) diff with similar sized gears to the rear. This diff is unique to the coily and has no available aftermarket anything aside from the axles from ADD\. Though I don't know is darren does 22 spline (stock suzuki front spline size), you might have to investigate centre swaps.

Since coil models were only made for a few years and they weren't sold in the U.S the aftermarket world didn't take them on like other models. There's no (front) aftermarket gears available and there's no off the shelf lockers either. It is possible to fit a Jimny airlocker with some custom work(search for a thread by joeblow) and it is possible to put 26 spline gears in one of those too.
