so i want to fit 5.125 R&P to the back of the GV.

I know i can just use a Vit center but i need to figure out how to fit the gear set to a GV carrier.

What have others done. or what GV Diff did you use.

havent been able to confirm if the J20 Auto has 5.125... but dont think so.

And does the 1.6 SWB have the same diff as the GV? its rumored they have 5.125.

Why don't you just bolt in the entire 5.12 12-bolt vit rear third?

The earlier 1.6 SWBs will only have a ten bolt 5.12, which can work but you are move to a slightly weaker diff.

Thats what i have at the moment but to fit a CAP locker i need to use the GV carrier.

in the GV carrier the Vit pinion doesnt pull up tight and the crown doesnt engage with the pinion before the retaining bolts on the side gear retaining plate hit the bearing plate.
