Hi All, I've decided to make some extended shackles myself. I've already purchased the metal (40mmx6mm Flat Bar & 30mmx30mmx3mm Box Section) and bolts (1/2 Inch by 3.5 Inches Zinc Plated) Does anyone know what length the Box Section should be ? It will be welded between the flat bar for strengh. Any help would be much appreciated. Cheers, Daniel |

As Scrawn said. Bolt up the stock shackle and measure the length of the bolt from the inside face of both sides of the shackle. |

I just bought some new crush tubes recently, they are about 64mm. I'll check on the weekend the exact length. |

I went 58mm for a snug fit so it wouldn't flog out the pin holes |
