need to fit a new radiator in 95 Sierra, apart from a replacement Sierra radiator, does anyone know of any others that fit, even if a small amount of alteration is required?

Royce can answer this one. He had a Vitara rad in his white sireea. Worked great.

Have mounted a 96 vitara rad in mine (89 SWb) and when i actually get it running (trying to source a MAF sensor for it) i'll tell ya how it goes:) main diff's i can see at the mom is plastic top and bottom tanks (no rust) bigger (obviously) will still fit in between chassi rails though with standered steering box. Iv mounted mine as far to the left on top of the chassie rail though in prep for power steer, will still be pushing it for space though i reckon. if ya want pics of my wierd setup PM me.

when i got my 92 sierra radiator recored many moons ago the radiator guy said it was brass and i should forget trying to find plastic tanks (US models apparently) cause they split in time

i say recore or get a cheap 2nd hand one (got one for $30 as a spare a while back) two row new ones are not bad price on ebay either.

X2...
You CANNOT go too big with a replacement radiator. A working thermostat will ensure the water in the motor is always the correct temp.

I bought one of the alloy sierra radiators off ebay for my 89 wt with 1.6 16v and it works a treat. With the standard vit engine fan it runs between 76 and 82 degrees most of the time. Haven't really abused it yet tho!
