Just a question on replacing the drive belt. Do you put an allen socket into the centre of the tensioner to get the slack to fit the new belt???

I thought I had bought the best modle Vitara in this car, but it seems nothing but a nightmare finding out information and trying to get a service manual for it!!!

I cannot believe what should be an easy 5 minute job has turned into HELL. Is there a way of tensioning other that the tensioner?
The tensioner is hard against the stop and will all my might I cannot get it back off it. One hell of a strong spring.
Is it stuffed??
