There was some talk of a guy on pirate that deals alot with external piggyback controllers for the aw4 box. I hear you can also get them for jeeps ? I know theres a few pirate feinds on here does anyone know anything about it. Cheers |

Are you talking about RAD designs? If so, I don't rate it. Having two shifters doesn't make sense. |

Is there a way i can keep the baleno ecu and run just the trans computer for the auto or are they integrated |

Just got a revised set of boards in and software ready to be tested. Dan |

I am running an engine and ECU out of an automatic baleno with the AW4 trans computer wires in and it all works fine. You only need to hook up the tps wire from the ecu to the tcm. if you connect the coolant temp sensor from the baleno ecu to the tcm you wont get overdrive as it outputs a different signal than the vitara ecu. |

Anyone know where the tcm locates on the vitara, ill yank it out before i send the vit to the wreckers |
