Anyone have a pic of the circlip on chromo axles that seats the axle in the cv. Internal circlip ?
Mine have separated and i just seem to have the remenants of what once was

So you just squeeze the circlip in as you put the axle into the CV yeah? My cromos just arrived today, how can you take the axle out of the cv with the circlip there, Just keep hitting it?

only reason to pull the axle is to swap it if you break an axle and need a new shaft. in that case you can get them out by destroying whats left of the shaft.

Slide the axle into a piece of pipe that is big enough to fit the axle but small enough so the cv cant fit in. Bash the other end of the pipe into the ground so that the axle/cv is vertical, if you hit it hard enough the axle will pop out one end, leaving the cv behind.
