New to 4WD, but have been told good things about the 1999-2004 GVitara. I'm interested in beach driving/camping (Noosa North Shore) and Fraser Island, which arent far from home. I've also heard that on Fraser the 3 door GV do better than the 5 doors (more nimble in general). But I really want to buy a car form the outset that has low range. Its hard to get straight info from the general internet, but I gather the 2006 G Vitara 3 door does not have low range, but that some later ones do. Can you fill me in? I have a lot of faith in Suzuki in general, Most 4WD on thr road when I grew up in the 70's were sierras. Cheers, Paul
