Hi All, Does anyone know which VRS kit is the right one for my motor. As per my rego papers my 93 WT has a G13BA 1298cc motor. I can only find the following info on the subject DN480 - VRS Kit for G13A motors DN481 - VRS kit for G13B motors Which one is the right one for the G13BA SOHC motor ? Any help would be much appreciated. Cheers, Daniel |

Check what is stamped on the block. You might find that the g13b is the dohc swift gti engine. When I rebuilt mine I got the VRS DN480 kit. It had the wrong ring size. I checked my block and it was a g13ba block. My mate went and changed the rings which were the only difference.... AFAIK the G13A were 1324cc not 1298cc. Are you confused yet? I am |

If your kit had rings in it... It wasn't a VRS set... VRS stands for Valve Regrind Set and is all gaskets/seals from head gasket up.. No rings.. No bearings. |

i got a sealed vrs kit here, says DN480/1mt suzuki G13A:G13B itsa monotorque/ACL brand forget the blocks, they are easy to diferentiate if you want tricky, have you noticed the heads have S-'x' cast in them on th intake side i got two heads with S-5, one i definetely know was off a g13a sierra, the other may of come from a sierra i got one head with S-2 which came off a vitara and finally a S-6 which came off a carby g13ba swift motor which has a factory block off for the mechanical fuel pump ????? i can only hazard that its a series thing so i would love to find out te difference between all the 1.3l head (1.3l vs 1.6l is obvious and its not just the exhaust valves) |

Thanks for clearing that Up Santos, i thought we may have got the rings and bearings seperate when we were rebuilding my motor. As I said everything in the 480 kit worked on my head. |
