he guys i have some weird stuff going on with my sj80 radio. here's whats up: radio turns off whenever the brake is applied radio turns off whenever the turnsignal is on radio turns off when ever headlights are on head light dem when vehicle is in gear and here is a load on the engine horn wont work when he headlights are on and ac is on i just replaced he battery , could the problem be the altenator or voltage regulator? Thanks |

Check the earth from battery to firewall. If stock then replace it with one that is a lot bigger |

I recently replaced but with a new stock size one. Do you think I should go biguerilla anyway? |

Also noticed when driving at night the headlights are brighter when the clutch is fully depressed vs when no pressure on the clutch and driving the headlights dim. |

You definitely have grounding issues - there should be a couple of relatively heavy cables from the battery negative to the chassis/body and also one of the starter or bellhousing bolts - that second one is what's causing that change in brightness when you depress the clutch I would get that seen to ASAP - if you're not grounded properly there, you can end up burning the clutch cable when you crank the engine. |

Update. Turns out the body didn't have a strong enough ground. I ran a wire straight from the battery to the body and problem solved. Thanks for the help |
