So the buggy development is continuing and the stereo has now been replaced. Found something a bit weird - there are speakers in each door as well as a speaker in the front passenger footwell. There is a matching plate on the drivers side but no speaker (plate is a blank).

Where were the original factory speakers on these Convertible mobiles - the doors or on the side of the footwells?
