Does any one know the distance between the rear coil mounts on a gv at full bump. Im looking for new coils as i over estimated the weight when i got the last ones and need to drop it like 3 in. Right now im running 150lbs 3"id 18" long. They are a great length but are to high a rate as they only compress 4.5in at ride height. Can any one see a problem with going down to 100lbs coils and getting shocks valved to suit |

Running deeply compressed springs with very soft rates can feel odd- with very large changes in ride height with only small weight transfer. It's part of the reason many lift springs are shorter and run a higher rate. Squat and roll gets super exaggerated. You'll lower the car 2.25" if you drop to 100lb springs. |

Would a rear swaybar and playing with angle of top links fix the problems. Any one know what the rate of the calmini springs. |

They're pretty soft. I haven't specced the ones I have but I think close to 100lb is likely. Most people with LWB's find them far too soft. A swayer might help handling, but it won't help the huge changes in ride height with relatively small load changes - you'll lose 1" per 100kg |

Im going to run a 10in travel airbag off the diff center to allow for camping loads or to lift the car up if i belly out on something |

I would say so. Ive been reading the spring thread on pirate and want to try something new instead of the old traped short and hard coil idea that everyone used to use. |
