I need to replace mine but have noticed some kits have a half moon seal some don't. Do I need one for this motor. All kits have gasket, tube seals and nut seals but not all have a half moon seal.

Hey Max , Quite often the aftermarket gaskets have the "D" seal incorporated into the rocker cover gasket itself, same with the plug tube seals , some have the plug tube seals attached with a thin section of rubber between the gasket and seals. if the picture of the one you want to order doesnt have a clear image of the gasket with incorporated "D" seal or a seperate "D" seal, then they are not hard or expensive to source seperately.

Your engine does use a seperate "D" seal from factory.
