hey just wondering if anyone has used the carby off a 3cyl charade for their sierra? the local wrecker says it works fine and is cheaper? just wondering if it is true and what are the pros and cons of it if anyone has done this? cheers (my carby is rooted not looking for a power increase or decrease just replacement)

Well it's probably an Aisin carby, as Daihatsu is owned by Toyota, and Toyota owns Aisin, so I can't see why it wouldn't fit. The only concern is the jet sizes might be a bit small, causing the old 1.3 to be a litlle more gutless than it already is.

don't understand going smaller carby get a swift 1.3 or 1.6 or vitara 1.6 carby. it'll bolt on and be heaps better than one suited for a 3 cylinder
