I have a 1986 Suzuki Sierra with a G16B 16v swap and have been having troubles with injector 2 and 3 not firing most of the time..

I've checked continuity on all the plugs and even replaced the ecu.

What could be the cause for this? I'm thinking it's a possible dodgy cam sensor.

Swapped with new injectors and that still did nothing.
Noid lights tell me that all the injectors pulse on startup and sometimes all pulse at a rough RPM but most of the time 2 and 3 still don't pulse.

You could try checking all the ground merges that hide taped up in the loom, or even double check all the loom grounds that fasten to the motor?
Are the lights wired on the back of the injectors?

Checked all the connections and wiring etc? I know it seems basic but following the wiring back you might find a short.

Have you bridged your diagnosis pins to get a DTC read out?

Are you getting a check engine light? I’ve just found dodgy cam sensor in one of my Baleno’s, it was causing a misfire intermittently sometimes stalling the motor, other times it just felt like a gearshift clunk as it’s a auto.

Each time the check engine light would come on. I’m assuming your G16B is a Baleno motor?

There’s a couple of ways to run diagnostics on them if it is. First option find someone who has an OBD1 code reader. Despite a bunch of internizzle posts that state they’re OBD2, they aren’t and won’t work with an OBD2 reader.

Second way is what Kfal points out, bridge the ‘diagnostic switch’ terminal to the ground terminal of the diagnostic plug which sits in the relay box under the bonnet. You then count the flashes of the check engine light, ie 4 blinks and a short pause followed by 7 blinks = diagnostic code 47. This is the code for cam sensor.

But for this to work the computer has to register a fault code.
