These are going to make 33 10.5's look like the heavy truck tyres they are. I'm waiting for some 35 10.5's to start popping up when the prolite off-road race guys start selling them second hand.

Very cool.

Are they DOT approved for on-road??

No.
But when the 32 9.5 r15s that are listed on the BFG site for release in fall this year hit the market I reckon I wouldn't be the only one game to run em.....

Then reality kicks in, and the $400+ per corner price tag says I'll just keep on dreaming. ;)

Most of the cheapies in that size are plenty soft now
Summit mudhogs for example

No comparison. These will be so much lighter and more flexible than a tyre designed for a dually it's not funny. No, they're not DOT or ADR. But 32's aren't legal on a sierra anyway.

Stuff that comes out of the BFG Motorsport factory are nothing like road tyres.

I don't share your opinion of BFG consumer tyres, but regardless, the race tyres come from a different facility that only makes race tyres.

They won't come as a sticky, but I imagine the compound is fairly soft.
