found a air locker thats in a narrow track diff can i put this in my wt?

it will bolt in. but NT run different ratio to WT so no wont be compatable

Why does it have to be incompatible - if it bolts in - can't you bolt it in using the existing ring & pinion?

I think tanshi means if a complete NT third member was bolted in the front and rear axle ratios would be mismatched

Yeah so the centres themselves (ie just the locker or the bit it's replacing) are the same between NT and WTs but NTs have 3.909 diffs and WTs have 3.727. On both models the rear axles are 26 spline and front is 22, though most fronts with a locker will also have aftermarket axles which are 26 spline. Other than the axle splines the front and rear centres are interchangeable.

So you can just swap the locker in with your diff gears.
