Apparently they stopped a few months back. Really wishing i had bought rails before seats, now. Also you need to prove you have real seats before they will sell rails now. Local dealer told me latter last week, then when i took my seats in to get photographed they told me the rest (they had an email from idealseat that morning) So there goes the easy install option... |

Interesting. Idealseat used to have someone who would make rails to suit whatever application was required. Perhaps the legality/product liability concerns scuttled this. I didn't think there was a "factory" Recaro Vitara seat base. I do know fatzook was making Recaro bases for vitaras. I know the genuine factory Recaro mounts are of mass-produced OEM quality, the stuff Idealset was having made locally was not. |

Decided to go the Corbeau option. I guess on the plus side it is a heap cheaper. Looks like i have to get them transhipped as usa deliver addresses are the only options. |
