I've got a two questions for the brains trust out there. What problems should I expect to encounter after a M16 conversion into a manual Jimny. It certainly inspires a generous right foot everytime I drive it now. Specifically the off topic conversation in the M13 conversion section in the Good Tech section, page 14. And. Why do the M15 and M18 engines have a compression ratio of 9:1 and the M13 and M16 is up around 11:1? If you took a head off a M15 or M18 and put it on an M13 or M16 would you get a 9:1 compression ratio? And vice versa, a M13 or M16 head on a M15 or M18 would result in a compression ration of 11:1? The block is exactly the same size for all engines? Is that right? Cheers |
