Sierra fuel filler neck hose ....41mm or 44mm?

The main filler neck on the Sierra metal fuel tank, would that take a 41mm or 44mm inside diameter hose?
My old tank was rotted so it is gone, and new tank has been ordered.

The filler neck measures in at 42mm

Are you talking about the rubber hose that fits between the body and the tank? From memory it's a wider diameter at the body end.

Yes, that is the correct hose...filler cap to fuel tank hose.
The body end I am modifying, so it is the tank end I am referring to for mm size.
I was aware it was a tapered hose, but thanks for pointing that out and looking out for me. :-)
