Hey Guys,

F10a in a Maruti is pretty smokey on start up until warm, I read somewhere this may be stem seals?

If so, can they be changed without removing the head?

That "until warm" doesn't sound like valve seals to me - how much oil are you burning?

Not sure to be honest.. I recently got the car which belonged to a farmer.. just trying to clean it up for a RWC currently.

There are ways to change valve seals without pulling the head, so yes, it can be done, but the cam may be in the way and I think that has to be removed out the back of the head so it may present a problem.
