2000 Tracker (Vitara) 2dr Auto 4wd. Doing a lift with springs and was wondering how far forward does the rear axle move with a 2 1/2" (64mm) lift? And how much will I need to stretch the pan hard bar to get the axle back to center? I know I will need a driveshaft spacer and will probably need to stretch control arms. I can't seem to find an answer on this side of the pond, maybe because we don't have a lot of these left and no one is making parts. Haven't even found a set of front diff drop brackets yet, unless I want to spend $$$$ for a whole kit. |

Diff drop brackets for the GV/Tracker are available out of the UK (check ebay.co.uk) and I believe there may also be someone in Canada offering them. Regarding the panhard rod - "stretching" the rod is a "band-aid" fix, the correct way to do it is to extend the mount point, and there are brackets available to do that, again, check ebay.co.uk. |
