BRISBANE
Hi there,
Looking for some advice. I have a 2009 Suzuki Jimmy manual that has recently started making some strange noises when the clutch is pushed in then while accelerating, sounds worse going from 2-3-4-5th gears.
This sound coming from engine while driving seems to flutter while accelerating. I’ve had my Jimmy from brand new and the first time I’ve had any serious problems with it is now.
I had it serviced by the Suzuki service place at Nundah, I am very disappointed with them. They charged me $800 for an engine flush and a change of some oils and filters. They weren’t able to identify what is causing the sound and said I would need to pay $1100 just to have the gearbox removed and inspected .. no parts included.
However, Suzuki has told me it is safe to drive ...
What I am wondering is if you know a good honest mechanic who really knows Suzuki’s and if possible is reasonably priced in the Brisbane area.
And if anyone else has any idea what this could be or if anyone has had a similar problem please comment!
