Just looking at some google picks of gti engines to see where hoses etc go and I noticed they have a different coil than the stock sierra g13b coil... Can I use my old coil or do I need to upgrade... I "searched" but couldn't find answer... |

You do run the risk of the tacho not giving a true reading and causing other gremlins depending on the output of sierra coil vs the gti, unless of course its a mk1 in which the ecu is not as critical of ignition. http://teamswift.net/viewtopic.php?f=32&t=42333 |

https://m.ebay.com.au/itm/Tridon-Igniti ... 2706635076 I dont really like aftermarket stuff but if you have no luck at wreckers then might be worth considering |

win....I opened the box to get out the new loom and there was a gti coil in the box....The guy who provided the engine thought of everything..except rotor button but he did give me the part number... |
