Hi guys,
I have a 1996 Vitara with a buggered gearbox.
The vehicle has a V6 H20a motor. Will a gearbox from a 4 cylinder or H25a or H27a fit.
And does anybody have 1.

Hey. I just replaced my clutch I’ve got a 95 Jxl lwb been converted to the h25a motor and it’s running a j20 5spd gearbox . The h25a box is 2” longer so need to work out shifters, then drive shafts need to be corrected as rear will need to be 2” smaller in length and 2” longer in front (uncertain of measurements on h25 d/s’ ) also the slave cylinder then transfers to the right need longer hydraulic lines. Other than that she bolts up fine. Most parts interchangeable I’m to believe
