Hi - Has anyone removed the front skirt off the 2005-> Grand Vitara's? Any tips and tricks? I started this evening however looks like i will need to fabricate some filler supports to connect the wheel wells to the front bumper |

Yeah I removed mine a while back. One of the first mods I did as I knew it would rip off. I used trusty old zipties to reconnect the wheel wells to the bumper, just drilled a hole to thread it through. Although I should admit that when I hit some mud, the drivers side well came loose and then a fairly significant section was melted away by rubbing against the tyre. I just zipped it up again. It is good enough for me, but you might want to try a more elegant solution. |
