Has anyone broken the gearstick pivot bolt then lost the broken bit in the gearbox? my son has fished around with a magnet but no joy. He also dropped the oil and tried fishing for it in the bottom , still nothing! |

It could only be in the extension housing which is the bit bolted onto the rear of the gearbox case. It’s around 8 12mm Bolts securing it and should be easy to remove although I can’t tell you if this would need to gearbox to be removed from the car or not. |

Happen to me. I got a thin bit of wire and poked around till I got it where I could see a bit of it. Tried a magnet, then got a cheap three fingered thing and out it came. bye |
