Heyo,

My jimny is missing (codes 301, 302, 303, 304) etc. It is a hi comp M15 swap done close to 12 months ago. It was relatively smooth sailing until maybe a month ago, it started missing under load (from 1000 to 3500rpm), bring out the code reader and see what the problem is. move on.

So far i have replaced systematically:
Plugs (from standard copper to iridium)
Cam Angle Sensor
Coil packs

After i change each part, i reset the codes, the car gives me a few days of wonderful drama free driving ( i thought i had nailed it with the coil packs- the engine was more responsive and pulled like a 15yr old) that was nearly a week ago. Wake up this morning to go to work and the ol' miss under load returns!

What am i forgetting? What am i missing?

Google says those codes are cylinder misfires..

When you did the coil packs, did you do the leads as well?

Did you maybe just get some shit fuel? Check filters?

Could also be the fuel pump?

Did you maybe just get some shit fuel? Check filters? ive been a bit weary of some of the fuel around, where are my filters hiding?

Could also be the fuel pump? that has also crossed my mind, thats an in-tank pump, do you know if i can be accessed from in car? i have no back seat already so easy peasy

Might pay to check fuel pressure.
