Post subject:  Sierra tacho with baleno g16b...

Hey all,

Im just messing with the zook in the hope to get the Sierra tacho to work with the g16b... i have read that it needs a diode bridge but i cant find it again for the life of me.

So i have tried taking both the coil signals from the dioding them ( diode on each signal and pairing them together, the diodes stop the signal from coil 1 going back into the computer signal 2) this didnt work...

I also have tried using a rectifier (diode bridge) on the computer tacho signal but this didnt work either....

Any help???

Fit baleno tacho assembly from the baleno speedo cluster

This is what I have on the back of my cluster and works perfectly. It's way less work than hacking the baleen tach into the sierra cluster

What were you running into the input of this? The ecu signal or from the coils?

Cheers Btw :)

baleno ecu tach signal is the input.
