I recently got my jimny and i love it,
Just woudering if anyone has any suggestions on what i can do to modify it abit, i only really do beach driving and to and from work, is it worth getting a lift? Any other suggestions that would be worth doing to a jimny to make it better? Or any other mods to get it a little more power without pumping money into the engine.? Its a 2006 model with 85000kms on it and a manuel. Ive put some steel rims and bigger tyres on,hids and a better stereo at the moment.

IMO, for sand use it would be good to move to an M15a or M18a engine. They're a straightforward, bolt in conversion. M18s are somewhat hard to find these days but m15s are still cheap and common.

As for lift, only really you can answer that. Do you need more clearance? Personally, I'd look into one of the soft, small lifts like the OME 40mm. My jimny lacked clearance.
