Hello All, I have a 99 Jimny G13BB auto. It will run ok for weeks at a time then it will loose power suddenly and surge a few times then be ok for a few weeks again. It feels like the fuel and ignition are shutting down. It has never stopped running. Just after ideas on where to look. Any help greatly appreciated. |

First cab off the rank would be camshaft position sensor. These can be troublesome in this series of motor. Steve. |

Ive had more issues with the coil packs, than the cam position sensor. Sometimes they can arc out causing issues. Can be an ever so tiny little mark. Have you pressure washed the engine bay or been through any water? Is there oil around a spark plug? If the rocker cover seal leaks around a spark plug, it can cause an arc there too. |
