Smack bang center of the drivers side of the block (under intake manifold). |

thanks So I’m thinking that when I put 98 octane in the computer tunes for the higher octane and I get better performance and economy, I’ve only had the 2015 for 3 tank fulls and the last one is 98 and there’s a noticeable improvement all round, or am I dreaming. That's the theory & marketing spin behind anything above 91 octane & some cars are highly strung enough to need 95/98, but your Jimny is't one of them. It should make a positive difference, but it would be very hard to detect by seat of the pants feel. If you can afford to fill with 98 & you think it is of benefit, then go for it, but the economy equation is well & truly counteracted by the higher cost. Rgs, Michael |
