After doing some research and pulling my car down (pulled rear diff out to check it). From what I found online (was not alot of information) it seems that the likely cause is my transfer case slipping under load. Has anyone else had this issue and how did they resolve it? I'm assuming maybe looking for a second hand transfer case may be the answer? Tia Ethan |

Probably a broken transfer mount or seized uni joint. Can you feel it through the 4WD lever? |

Mounts are fine on the case. And not that I could recall (mind due never really had my hand on the transfer case stick) it happens when I release the clutch in first taking off and when I shifted down to slow down 3 or 4 large bangs then would stop at cruising speed. |

Could it be the chain in the coily case. |

Yep. Most likely. Unlike a vitara, the chain drives the car all the time when in a vitara it only drives the the front wheels. |
