Is there any mods i can do to the exhaust like remove cat converter or something like that or anything i can buy online and do myself to make my jimny sound abit better?? I dont own a welder so i cant weld any pipes on myself, |

My sierra has no muffler at the moment weather it sounds better is a personal choice but be aware if you do that it will be loud, not an issue where i live but if you live in town it may be. Cheers Jack |

I'm also running small diameter pipe (1 1/4 inch) all the way to the back which makes a big difference. |

When my cat converter got clogged up and suddenly replaced with a straight pipe, mine got a touch louder but more noticeably there's a resonance between 3,000 & 3,200rpm that is about twice the volume. It's realllllly weird, but sounds strangely good. I don't think the 1.3L or 1.6L 4cycls ever really sound that crash hot. I run a reasonable sized muffler for that reason, as the engine, tcase and tyres already make enough racket that the music ends up way too loud as it is haha |
