Hey all I have a suzuki apv 2016 modle with a g16b it has cold air induction and an exhaust upgrade the other day I was driving it up a hill so higher revs in 3rd and all of a sudden it started making tappet noises. Got it home and the next day realised it had dumbed a bit of oil. Had a friend come over changed oil filter and topped up oil we started the car up and no leaks we let it was up and then I gave it a quick short rev and it dumped about 500ml of oil from somewhere at the front of the motor. My question is does anyone know where or what could be causing so much oil to leak out so quickly? its at the front of the motor as the sides of the block are very clean. The engine and van only have 55k on the clock. I'm hoping its just a really bad crank seal leak or there is an oil line in that area that I have split. |
