Good day,

I have a friend who is busy with a Hilux axle swap. His idea is to use the standard Jimny axel mounts, radial arm, shock and coils.

I have said I would help him with trying to redesign the brackets. But then I thought someone here might have done this before?

Would anyone here maybe have technical drawings or even a Cad drawing for the Jimny axel mounts?

What size tires does he want to run?
Are you planning on the rear only or front and rear. You might find a bundy diff easier to mount.

Currently running 31s, So will be in the 31 to 31" range. (will have to get new rims due to new PCD )

It is front and rear diffs. He already has the diffs, and has done the pumpkin move.

Here is the image of Jimny vs Hilux diff.

31’s with hilux diffs? Would have been easier to stay with stock tyres.
