Hi All, The best guide I can find is below and its in Spanish, I have the general Idea but would like some quick feedback. https://suzuki88.mforos.com/194412/6931388-desplazamiento-del-eje-delantero/?marcar=eje+delantero Aside form Drilling Perches & U-Bolt Plates, as well as shifting the bump stops forward using some plate, is there anything more I should be wary of. How far forward is too far forward? If there is a more Comprehensive guides on here please link me to below. |

Yes that’s how you’d do it, but I’d suggest 40mm is too much without other work. Without bumpstop spacing, the tie rod and pitman arm will clash, and it’s likely the shocks will hit the original bumpstop bracket on the chassis. Also consider the front driveshaft will have inadequate spline engagement so a spacer or longer driveshaft would be advisable. I moved my axle forward about 30mm using this method many many years ago as a stop gap, it wasn’t ideal but helped to keep my 34’s off the firewall. |

Are you talking mm or cm? That'd s lot of work for 7/8 of an inch. |

Conversion errors aside, here's the situation - your tires are fouling the firewall on full lock, your options are moving the axle forward, moving the firewall backwards, or, switching to a smaller tire - some folks feel it's worth the work. |
