So, I cobbled together the various suspension parts I have hoarded and measured them all to see what kind of differences exist.

The spring rate for Tough Dog and Stock I got using an online calculator, the OME stuff is from their specs.

I can't offer much useful info in how each feels other than you can pick the Tough Dog is a little stiffer.
Soft sand beach driving with OME is way better than the stock stuff, I am sensitive to a bumpy ride and was still fine after 30km of beach with the OME.

Something Gwagen said in the thread about the panhard bracket of companies using a stiffer shock valving to combat bodyroll associated with height, I dont own a shock dyno so cant comment there, but might explain why the Tough Dog rears are so much stiffer, I remeasured them several times as I thought I must of got something wrong to be so different.

Spreadsheet here, if you have access to other springs and shocks and want to add them, let me know https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/ ... sp=sharing

Going from memory those stock shock lengths are the same as what I measured on my 2001 Jimny. For the front are you measuring from the base of the pin or including the first rubber bushing?
