Gday guys and girls new to the page and have juts picked up my first Suzuki. Overall very clean only issue I’m having is the old owner had just replaced all the leaf springs and the rear leafs seem too long as the shackle rides against the chassis leaving no actually up travel in the rear, can anyone shed some light as to what the correct length leaf would be for a Stockman/MG410W TIA

Cheapest solution would be a slightly longer shackle.

Do you know what leaves they are? I'm aware the stockman has a slightly shorter leaf spacing but it's not normally that much of a problem. Are they EFS 65mm leaves by chance?

Did Steve just suggest extended shackles?!?  Dimension wise the Stockman springs are the same as any other Sierra rear spring. EFS do a ute specific spring that is shorter than conventional lifted springs for better load carrying ability/better shackle angle for that use. It's hard to tell but it looks like your bushes might be stuffed, firmer bushings might prevent the shackle inversion. I had some bad new bushes in my Sierra that split and caused the shackles to invert, I fitted a different brand and haven't had a problem since.

The bushes look all ok to me

I had the same issue with my lwb Sierra when I first put the suspension in it, 2” extended shackles sorted it out.

Lwb sierras/maruti/stockman all run a slightly shorter spring than swb sierras from factory.
The shackle pinning against the chassis is common and even possible when you fit a swb spring to the rear under the right conditions.
Efs do a lwb hd rear spring that fixes the issue as its shorter but creates other issues namely the worst ride possible in what should be a smooth riding lwb.
A slightly longer shackle will also solve the issue and give you a better ride

Had the same issue when I put the 65mm EFS leaves in my trayback, 100mm pin-pin shackle fixed it.
