I have replaced the axle oil seals (and the hub seals etc) about three times in two years on the front diff of my Jimny 2010.
The seal on the passengers side lasts a short time and then leaks again, so ruining the king pin bearings as it washes out the grease. I intend to have another try, this time removing the whole diff housing. I found when re-inserting the axle, that getting the axle spline to line up with the diff mating spline (with housing in the car) is a real PIA, and I suspect MIGHT damage the seal in the process.
Only other things I can see that may affect the sealing of the seal, is the axle sealing surface (it’s good), a bent axle or a worn spindle bush. So I will check the axle and have bought two bushes (item 5-7) and will replace as well.
Any other things I should be checking for?

Just a comment about looking up parts - mine is an SN413 but how do the 'version' numbers slot in (V6?) for Aussie Jimnys?
