Hi guys, thanks for adding me, after replacing the ignition switch and barrel on my 93 vitara, the indicators and hi beam flasher arnt working, I've checked out a Suzuki genuine part and it $443, do you guys have any tricks to get the indicator multi switch working? not to concerned about the high beam flasher as the high beams do work when on (lever pushed forward) any help would be greatly appreciated

Let me start by asking what is your experience with electrical troubleshooting & repairs like? Do you have a test meter? Do you know how to use it?
Rather than asking about "tricks" what you need to do is get the wiring diagram, get out the test tools and find why whatever isn't working, isn't working - if it's not something you can do yourself, then it's time to find someone to do it for you, and trust me, it's not something we can do remotely, about the best we can do is point you in the direction of the appropriate diagram.
Were the indicators & high beam flasher working before the ignition switch replacement? Is the ignition switch the $443 part you're running away from? Does the replacement at least match the one you took out, or did you have to cut & splice wires to fit it? Assuming it was a "plug and play" replacement, were there any other connectors you might have disconnected during the replacement? Have you checked those?
What I'm trying to establish here is, is this a problem that you created and do we need to figure out what you did to create it, or can we assume we're working with an unmodified wiring system. Are you starting to see why this requires an "in person" approach?
The indicators are powered from an ignition switch supplied source, via a fuse - have you verified that that fuse is good? Have you verified that power is reaching the switch? Have you verified that the flasher relay is good? Have you verified the globes are good? If the $443 part is the combination switch, as I suspect it might be, I've given you four items, all less expensive, that need to be checked before you even start thinking about replacing the switch.
The high beam flasher works by supplying a ground - maybe the ground wire is not connected? There isn't much else to go wrong here besides a burned switch, but it does need to be checked. By the way the switch has multiple sets of switch contacts, one set for every function it controls - left turn, right turn, high beam, low beam, high beam flash - those are all separate functions - and then there is the park light & headlight control - two more sets - and then the wiper/washer.
I've attached the relevant pages from the service manual for your convenience.

Thanks for that Fordom, I replaced the ignition switch and barrel, the indicator multi switch was functioning perfectly before replacing the ignition switch, the part I got and installed was the right part, but when I reassembled steering wheel ect, all was working accept for the indicators and high beam flashing ( pulling back on leaver ). All fuses in the fuse box were checked, the flasher fuse was blown, which I replaced and is good now but the indicators still not working, about to get the multi meter and test light out now to test weather the fault is at the switch or in the wiring behind the loom. My question was, if it is the switch that is the problem, does anyone know if it can be fixed without having to spend that ridiculous amount of money for a piece of wires and plastic, have looked into the price of the second second hand part, they still want $250 for a 28 year old component, just trying to save a little money

First - whether or not a broken switch can be fixed is going to depend on exactly what or where it is broken - as mentioned above it's not a "simple" switch, it has multiple sets of switch contacts. Second - and perhaps more important - there's no reason to assume the switch is the fault - you probably have a better idea of what you might have broken than I do, but apart from "sharing a housing", the ignition switch & the combination switch have very little in common, and, at least in my opinion, you're much more likely to have created an electrical problem, because the cables bundles are usually tied together and you would have had to disturb the cabling for the combination switch.
