Hi, Looking at a 1.3L distributor on E-bay. Will one of these fit my 1L? It doesn't come with a cap...I'm thinking if I get it cheap enough I'll pick up a cap later... Michael |

Moved to tech. Feel free to post pics michael, there are all sorts of rigs on here. Are they 16" rims on your ute? |

Well, that is true. It is a good grill - reason enough to have one! I do have a sort of smug pride in that she is original, no lifts, 'proper' 1L engine etc...having said that, a bit more speed, less noise and better fuel economy would be great - and there is no way I will ever fall asleep driving long distances! The reason I'm looking at the 1.3 dizzy is that I have had points fail on me a few times and I thought maybe the electronic type would be better and more efficient. Michael |

Yes, they are 16" rims. They need new tyres, but I'm getting the last miles out of these - no money for newbies anyway. I get a better top speed out of these than I do with the 15" Sunnies that I have, althought he speedo is still at 90% actual speed. I dorve to Bundaberg a while back with the Sunraisers on. I thought I was doing 100kph...felt like I was, sounded like I was, but I was in fact doing 80kph. No wonder it took me 2 1/5 hours... Now she gets along at a blistering 100kph (real speed) if I rev her little ring-piece out...mostly I cruise at 90 though. |
