Hello Anyone able to take a couple of measurements for me of a stock sj410 or 413 . I am after track width , center to center of tyres and also the height of the engine crank center line to the ground ? One google website says the track width is 1210 , but I have not found anything for engine crank height . The rules in NZ now have a ratio of engine height to track width and measuring up mine I only just comply , so I am wondering if a stock sj410 would even comply with the requirements . Mine is not factory anymore so making theoretical measurements is a little hard . Off the top of my head I cant remember is a 410is narrower than a 413 , dont think so , so the measurements of a 413 would probably also work . I wonder how a LJ80 stacks up . Thanks Chris |

SJ410/413 are the same track width up until 1988, after that they widened them. Early model is 1210mm and after 88 is 1300mm. LJ80 is near enough the same track width (10-20mm narrower from memory) as early SJ but the engine is mounted a lot higher. Dunno about crank heights. |

That cast iron f10 block is a fair bit heavier than a 1.3 also might be worth paying attention to |

Same scale, same day. G13 was missing a few little things the F10a had like the hoses and fan but otherwise that's both with manifolds, carbies alternators ect. F10a might be cast iron block but it's a lot smaller. |

MrRocky wrote: Haha i dont have to Every bit of data on the interwebs says f10a is 20kg heavier No it doesn't, just scroll up. In fact, your posts are the only thing on the internet saying it's 20kg heavier and we all know they're mostly bullshit. |

If they were you could provide an example but all you can provide is more bullshit. sideways wrote: F10a, complete with both manifolds, clutch, alternator, carby, oil ect. 82.05kg G13ba, largely the same as above but the F10a had a bit more stuff on it like the fan, radiator hoses ect. 85.45kg |

Do your scales come with a calibration certificate lol The two previous weights quoted by other auszookers in the thread you posted your weights in seem a bit under also... |

Hi All, This is interesting and I am not going to weigh in with my opinion even though I have moved plenty of F10As and G13As along with a few conversions. Just wanted to suggest hanging one of each on either end of a SeeSaw and see what happens? If all else fails you can use the SeeSaw as a bridge and get over it! |
