Every once in a while someone posts a request for a template - maybe they bought a used snorkel and need a template, maybe they bought a chinese copy snorkel that didn't come with a template.

The attached PDF is a scan of a template that came with a "flipped" chinese snorkel that I bought a while back and never installed - flipped in the sense that it was a mirror imaged reproduction of the SE series Vitara snorkel that goes on the left side of the car.

The mirror image version goes on the right side of the car and is needed for the SV series - the 2.0 four cylinder & V6 Vitaras which have the air intake on the right side.

Included in the scan is a reference tape so you can adjust the size of your print to get exactly "life sized - both inch & metric for your convenience.

Print it, cut it out, match it to the snorkel to make sure you know which side is up, and then tape it to the car and start drilling.
