hi All , on the 1300 , carb motors there is a small maybe 5mm coolant nipple at the rear of the inlet manifold , on mine the hose went from there to the steel tube that comes from rear of water pump ,there is also another there that runs from bottom of inlet manifold to the tube further foward to front ,, the rear one may be a left over from water cooled carb base plate -choke whatever , i carnt remember and this zook has a weber on it so is probly redundent,, question is can this small nipple be deleted (plugged) the outlet -inlet on steel tube from water pump would also need plugging aswell? The steel nipple has corroded and will have to be replaced or plugged deleting it would be easyest as im at the very bottom of tasmania at moment ,any input appreciated cheers.
